Secondly is built so your earnings data stays on your device.

1. The short version
Secondly runs on your device. You type in a wage or salary, and the app does the math right there on your iPhone and Apple Watch. Because that information never leaves your device to reach us, we simply do not have it — and this policy explains, in plain terms, exactly how that works.
2. The information you enter
To use Secondly, you enter details such as your hourly wage or monthly salary, any overtime settings, the goals you want to track, and the shifts you start, pause, and end. The app also builds things like your Shift Receipt, Weekly Wrapped, streaks, achievements, and Ticks from that activity.
All of this is stored locally on your device by the app and is used only to run Secondly’s features on the device — to tick your earnings upward second by second, fill your goals in real time, show your figures on your widgets and Apple Watch, and produce your recaps. It is not sent to Catalyst App Labs, and there are no developer servers that receive it. The wage you enter never leaves your device to reach us.
3. No account, no sign-up
Secondly does not ask you to create an account. There is no email address, no name, no password, and no login required to use the app. We do not link your bank or any financial account, and there is nothing to sign in to. You can simply open the app and start a shift.
4. Where your data lives
Your Secondly data lives on your device. It may be included in your own device backups — such as iCloud or a computer backup — if you have those turned on. Those backups are controlled by you under your Apple account and Apple’s terms. Catalyst App Labs has no access to them.
Features that appear beyond the main app — the Apple Watch app, Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, Live Activities in the Dynamic Island, and StandBy on a charging iPhone — are provided through Apple’s on-device frameworks. Your figures move between your own Apple devices through those frameworks and stay within your Apple ecosystem; they do not pass through us.
5. Purchases
Any optional in-app purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the payment using your App Store account, and Catalyst App Labs never receives your payment card or bank details.
From Apple, the developer may receive only standard, aggregated, non-identifying sales information — never linked to you as an individual. “Ticks” and cosmetic items such as themes and looks have no monetary value; they cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred. 6. Diagnostics
Secondly does not include third-party analytics or tracking software.
If you have enabled Apple’s system-level “Share With App Developers” diagnostics setting in iOS Settings, Apple may share aggregated, non-identifying crash and performance data with the developer to help us fix problems. This is controlled entirely by your device settings, you can turn it off at any time, and it never includes your wage, salary, earnings, or any other data you enter.
7. No advertising and no tracking
Secondly shows no ads. It uses no advertising identifiers and performs no cross-app or cross-site tracking. We do not build advertising profiles, and nothing about you is sold or shared with data brokers. There is no data of this kind for us to trade, because we do not collect it in the first place.
8. Children’s privacy
Secondly is not directed to children under 13. Because the app collects no personal data and requires no account, it does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that concerns you, please contact us.
9. Your control
Because your data lives on your device, you control it fully. Deleting the app removes its data from that device. Backups — and whether they exist at all — are managed by you through Apple under your Apple account. If you ever have a privacy question, contact us and we will help; we usually reply within a few business days.
10. Security
Your Secondly data is protected by your device’s own security, such as your passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and the protections built into iOS. Because the data does not travel to a developer server, keeping your device secure is the most important step. We encourage you to use a device passcode and keep your software up to date.
11. Who we are and where this applies
Secondly is developed by Catalyst App Labs Pte. Ltd., an independent software company incorporated in Singapore. This policy applies wherever the app is used.
Because no personal data is collected by the developer, there is no cross-border transfer of your data to us. Where local laws — such as the GDPR or the CCPA — give you rights over your personal data, they are straightforward for us to honor precisely because we hold none of it. 12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date shown at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will note it in the app or here so you can see what changed.
